1940 Ford coupe
There were so many good things that happened in 1940!! Like the births of musicians John Lennon and Frank Zappa, as well as the very beautiful Raquel Welch and actor/martial arts extraordinaire Bruce Lee!! Elmer Fudd made his debut in an animated short and California has its first modern freeway open to traffic known at that time as the Arroyo Seco Parkway. Also there was just as much bad as there were good, like WWll being in full swing and our government taking control of the alcohol trade which it caused an underground culture of illegal production and sales of liquor. The original Smokey and the bandits were driving cars such as the 1940 Ford coupe!! This is the car most identified with the moonshine culture. We aren’t for certain if this 1940 Ford was used for that purpose, but it’s still amazing history none the less.
We will be doing a complete overhaul on this rare car, while keeping its classic lines and giving it those modern touches to make it one stand out Ford. We will start as always completely dismantling the car and making it one amazing build inside and out. Make sure to be checking our page here, as we update it as often as possible to keep you in the loop of our progress. This will be one to watch!!
Cheers
