1950 Chevy Pickup

Not all trucks are created equally. The 1947-1955 GM “Advanced Design” trucks were the first major redesign of GM trucks after WWII and were the leader in truck sales. Their unmistakable shape has since become part of the American backdrop. This particular truck was long retired from the working life and had started a transformation into a sleek looking everyday driver when it came to us. Wanting the best in modern comfort and driving performance we chose to ditch the original frame all together and start with a new Art Morrison chassis. A stout 350 V8 and 700R4 overdrive transmission now power this black hauler. 

Cruising comfort is aided by a full Vintage Air A/C set up. The daily driving duties this truck is slated to see unfortunately include stop and go traffic. Addressing the stop part of that is a set of big Wilwood disc brakes front and rear and a hydra boost power brake assist system. Hiding those big brakes are a set of 18” Circle Racing billet artillery wheels powder coated in black and shod in diamondback radial whitewall tires that perfectly compliment this trucks classic styling while also hinting at its modern performance capabilities. If you happen to spot this particular black Chevrolet truck out on the streets just remember this is not the old farm truck your use to seeing, this is a low and mean street ready machine.
