It time to spray some paint on this body, so its into our
downdraft, heat controlled booth for an application of PPG Revolution "Strawberry
Jewel" paint.
Troy, our lead painter applies the PPG paint. A lot goes into
a show quality paint job, including proper technique with a sprayer. Troy
first sprays all of the hard to reach areas first, including door jambs.
Once all the hard spots are done, Troy hits the larger surfaces.
This helps prevent runs in the paint and un-even application. Details like
how far the gun is from the surface and the angle at which it is held can
make all the difference in a paint job, and you can see here that Troy knows
what he is doing.
And that is what a fresh "Strawberry Jewel" looks
like. It almost looks good enough to eat (but we wouldn't reccomend it).
