Beating the Summer Heat.
Venting heat from the engine compartment will be no problem
with to big Chevy cowl vents.
Because this deuce will spend a lot of its time cruisin in
the deserts of Southern California, a pair of Flex-a-Lite, Transmission
oil Coolers are being installed under the trunk. We don't want anything
overheating while slow-cruising in the 110-deg (summer average) heat of
Palm Springs.
You may notice while looking at photos on this page that the
rearend keeps changing. That's because we tried two different rearends on
for size. In the end, we dicided on the Currie 9-inch Ford which is shown
above.
Battery/electrical compartment is located behind the seat
with the cover in place. A battery cut-off switch is also installed for
greater security.
