Hybrid Hood Sides
Everybody likes louvers. Some people like really big louvers.
And what if you are a '32 Ford guy, but really like the stock louvered hood
side of a '32 Chevy? Use both, of course.
After deciding how many louvers to use and where to put them,
a set of original '32 Chevy hood sides are sacrificed. The neat thing about
the louvers on the '32 Chevy is that they could be manually opened and closed
to control the flow of cooling air through the engine compartment.
The required louvers are cut out of the Chevy hood sides and
welded into a pair of "Ford" hood sides that were scratch-built
in our shop by fabricator Adam Beck.
