1965 Ford Mustang Fastback

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback

The idea for a fastback originated with the Joe Oros and as well designed in Charlie Phaneuf’s studio. They had a rendering of a 4 door fastback but it was never used, which may have been a good thing as this is was an excellent direction they went in.  This creation was all built in secret; no one saw it until they were fully done. Of course it was a hit!! Even today many just love this Mustang!  As you can see in our pictures it’s not in bad shape, our plans on this build will of course be a few modifications with some repairs making sure this build is safe as well as reliable and not to mention fast. That being said we will be swapping out the small block ford engine and putting in a new Edelbrock Coyote model 5.0 engine, Super Charged. Also some Detroit Speed engineering front and rear suspension. These are just a few of the highlights as of now, as we all know when a build is getting started only a few things are definite as plans change daily once we get in deeper and the client’s needs or wants change. All in all this is going to be one killer ride!!
