Owner: Harold Davids
If Cinderalla had been driven to the ball in this coach, getting home by midnight would have been no problem (not with 500+ horses pulling it along). But then, why would she want to get home so early when she could cruise the Kingdom in this bad boy? The Davids' '56 Chevy may be orange in color, but it's no squash, unless you're referring to what the competition will feel like sitting next to it. Under the hood is a ZZ-502 big-block, hooked up to a Turbo 400 trans with Gear Vendor overdrive. All that power goes to the rear wheels through a custom-built, heavy-duty driveshaft and a Ford 9-inch rear end with four-link. A Be-Cool aluminum radiator and Edelbrock reverse-flow water pump keep things cool under the hood. It's got disc brakes all around, coil-overs, and polished stainless steel control arms. And thats not all... When Harold brought his car to us there was not a great deal of bodywork to be done. The body was straight and unravaged by body cancer (except for a little here and there). As you can see, the firewall has been redone to accomodate the BB 502.
