1957 Chevy 1/2-Ton Short Bed Step-Side
This beauty was built by Hot Rods for Mike Hale.
Finished in PPG Turqoise Blue (which shades a bit to green under the bright
sun of these photos), this '57 Chevy is a real eye catcher.
It sports a Heidts independent front suspension
and a 4-bar rear suspension, attached to a Currie Enterprises Ford 9-inch
rear-end w/posi. Wilwood power discs put the brakes on all four wheels.
A custom tonneau cover and front hood flip-kit
keep everything looking nice and sporty.
The motor is a Chevy ZZ3 V8 with an Edelbrock
carburetor. The tranny it drives is a B&M TH350 automatic.
The stock gauges were refurbished by USI and the steering
column is from ididit.
The interior work, done in gray leather and tweed, is the
work of Gabe Lopez of Auto Upholstery & Auto Interiors in Bloomington,
CA. Creature comforts include a Vintage Air AC system and Specialty Power
Windows connected through a Painless Wiring electrical system.
