Custom Stuff
Since the object of this restoration is to keep things as
stock as possible, there hasn't been a lot of custom metal work except on
the chassis. But to keep things looking "stock" often takes a
customizers creative touch. The original air-cleaner will not work with
the new Indy Cylinder Head HEMI, so... our fabricators made a custom aircleaner
stylized to look like the original.
Our custom air cleaner is on the left, the original is on
the right.
The same situation occured with the stereo. The original radio
face is grafted onto a flip-down hinge that will reveal a modern Alpine
system.
Pete repaints the lettering on the re-chromed stock dash knobs
and radio face.
