Time to play hide and seek.
Even the best looking bodies hide flaws and imperfections.
We noticed a few on thise one which helped prompt the decision to make this
project a frame-off resto. First stop is the blast booth to find out what
else might be hiding beneath the surface.
Plastic media is used to remove the paint. Any rust found
is removed with garnet.
In addition to a few dents that need smoothing there are few
patches of swiss cheese that need filling.
After blasting, and epoxy primer is sprayed on the bare metal
to protect it during the bodywork phase.
