Essentially folks, we are going to cram a dragstrip ready
Hemi into this 4,500 lb Chrysler land-yacht and turn it into real door-slammer.
If you are a commodities trader, we predict an up-tick in rubber futures
on the horizon.
The mock-up motor is used to check the clearances for the
water pump and radiator while the real one is prepped for installation.
Clearances have to be re-checked because the Indy motor is a bit larger
than the mock-up.
The engine mounts will also be completed at this time now
that we know the actual measurements and can verify them.
Clearances for the steering linkage will be finalized at this
time as well.
