Even the badge reflects Chrysler's motivation for building
this "Beautiful Brute" -- Checkered Flag! And that's not just
bragging. Chrysler dominated the racing circuit until 1957 when the Automobile
Manufacturers Association shied away from factory support for racing.
After looking at this beautiful specimen of a C-300, you might
be wondering what we plan to do with it. After all, it already appears to
be fully restored (and it is!).
What could we possibly do to improve on this classic piece
of perfection?
Well, for starters, we can remove the running gear and bring
it up to date, starting with a new Hemi crate motor.
When we're done you won't notice any difference when it's
sitting at the curb... but when you turn the key you'll know you're not
looking at grampa's 300 anymore.
