Both the SSR and the 3100 came with running boards. While
stylish, the SSR boards will not work with this conversion.
A set of cardboard running boards are mocked up to determine
the required length and width.
Dynacorn makes aftermarket running Bboard for '47 thru '54
Chevy trucks that are the right length and will require minimal modification.
One needed modification requires narrowing the board at the front by taking
a long, thin, 3/4-inch pie-slice out of it.
Minor re-shapings of the running board ends were also required.
