"Some Assembly Required..."
When it comes to building custom cars, hot rods, or restorations,
the final assembly is the "home stretch". All the dirty work is
done (you hope), and it's tiime to see if it will all go together as planned.
Up front, the Deuce Factory stainless steel axles and spindels
are suspended by a Durant Enterprises mono-leaf spring. The wishbones are
stock 32's that have had the front ends cut off and replaced with those
from 40 Ford wishbones to fit the thicker axle.
Time to drop the Y-Block into the frame.
Winters Quickchange rear end assembly for V8, (Torino big
bearing), with 6-spline gear set (1-3/8, 22/25 teeth).
Bilstein 13" x 2.5"aluminum coilovers (R 240/50).
The transmission is a McLeod Industries Tremec 5-speed .
