How To Build a Custom Grill in 10 Hair Pulling Steps....
Step 1: Finish the grill shell.
Step 2: Ask yourself what you were thinking
when you said "yeah, we can do that!" Step 3:
Stop staring blankly into space and start mocking-up the grill in copper
wire so it looks like you know what you are doing.
Step 4: Build trim ring for grill
slats. Step 5: Scratch head and wonder if it's
too late to buy something off-the-shelf that will work.
Step 6: Get trusty Boy Scout pocket-knife
and start whittling grill slats from wood to use as templates.
Step 7: Get wood slats made into
metal slats.
Step 8: Try to get the metal slats
to fit the way the wood slats did (swearing allowed), and weld the whole
mess together.
Step 9: Sand everything down smooth.
Step 10: Paint and polish as needed
then breath huge sigh of relief that you pulled it off (try not to look
like you ever had any doubt).
