1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible - Getting Painted
Ready for paint.
First to go on is a base coat of PPG "Plum Crazy".
After applying the base coat the car gets thoruoghly color-sanded.
Sanding the paint with a very fiine grit paper elliminates minor ripples
in the paint known as "orange peel" because of its similar texture.
Once the paint is perfectly smooth it can be clear-coated and the result
will be a deep glass-like finish.
