Install the belt tensioner spring retaing pin before installing
the belt tensioner.
Install belt tensioner with the wheel facing the water pump
and rotate until you feel the spring retaining pin seat itself in both the
tensioner and bracket. Slide bolt through the belt tensioner and bracket
with nylock and tighten.
Install the serpentine belt while holding the belt tensioner
away from the engine.
