Primed & Ready
With a couple coats of DP-90 epoxy primer laid on, the body
is ready for its final body final body work.
Several different types of body filler are applied. Some is
used to fill in areas around welds so those imperfections can be removed.
The remaining areas get thin coats applied as well, and then everything
is sanded. By the time all the sanding is completed, the body will be smooth
as glass.
This part of the job is the most tedious, but most important
to how the car will look after painting.
