Time for Paint!
The Icing on this Road Tour cake will be a flawless Lamborghini
Yellow, two-stage paint applied here in Hot Rods & Custom Stuff's new
paint facility. The paint to be used on this project is PPG's Giallo Eros Yellow. PPG has been the preferred
choice of automotive enthusiasts everywhere since 1927.
In all, about 8 gallons of yellow pant will be used.
Ed mixes his paint for the next coat. Proper application of
the paint is crucial to the end result. Many a paint job fails from lack
of proper prep or failure to follow manufacturer application proceedures.
Gun technique can also make or break a finish. Proper distance
and angle are important.
Our temperature-controlled downdraft paint booth enchances
our ability to produce superior paint jobs.
