Each year, Street Rodder (SR) sponsors a "Road Tour" similar to the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour. Several vendors are selected by SR to create, build, and donate components to build a Tour car for use in its Road Tour appearances, shows, and cruises.

For 2004, Hot Rods & Custom Stuff, owned by Randy and Peaches Clark, was selected to build the project car, a 1932 Ford roadster featuring a chassis by Deuce Steel. Gen III Performance has been selected to build the motor for the project, which will be a LS6-based 427 CI engine.

The car will be initially shown (in its component state) at the NSRA show in Louisville, Kentucky. This show had 12,000 cars registered last year (2002) and clearly provides tremendous exposure to the project participants. In addition, the car will appear at the many NSRA's events throughout the US, as well as selected aviation and yachting shows. The car will also be shown at a selection of PGA Tours stops in an effort to broaden the exposure of our industry into a wider audience. Primedia will also be producing a DVD video of the buildup.
