Door & Windows & Stuff.
The power windows are Lectra-Glide II's which will be operated
from the inside with Hotronics switches. From the outside both the doors
and windows will be operated by a 4-channel, Dakota Digital remote entry
system.
Fenders are now in place and it's starting to look a little
more like an F-100.
That polished 28" column is from Flaming River. The banjo
steering wheel is a Grant.
The glove box goes in next. You can see the Vintage Air unit
and some of the ducting through the open hole. Mark had a few problems getting
that glove to box to fit. The thicknes of the paint on the box and around
the opening had eliminated all clearance between the two. Something to keep
in mind when fabricating things to close tolerances - take final painting
into account.
