1960 Pontiac Catalina
Like we said, most of the work we did was under the hood.
The Louvered radiator cover and fan shroud were custom made
here at the shop and painted to match the rest of the car. After rebuilding
the engine, the block was painted forest green. The areas between the fins
of the polished Offenhauser valve covers were painted the same color.
The motor you see here is the original 389ci V8 that it rolled
out of the factory with - rebuilt, of course. The 3x2 set-up consists of
Rochester two-barrel carbs topped with Moon scoop air cleaners. The starter
and alternator were painted dark green and pinstriped.
Notice the pinstriping on the oil pan.
