Every year, the Muscular Distrophy Association sponsors the MDA Lock-Up to help raise money for "Jerry's Kids." The money raised goes towards sending children to the MDA Summer Camp, buy wheelchairs, fund research, and a host of other MDA activities.

Participants have warrants issued for their arrest and then have to raise bail (donations), before their court date. This year, Randy Clark was charged with having a big heart and was apprehended on December 2, 2003. After a brief struggle (to find his jacket), randy was transported to the "Brigantine Restraunt" in Escondido for booking and a last meal. Luckily, Randy has friends that were able to raise $1,075.00 bail for his release.
