1932 Ford Coupe
This project began when Jerry Johnson's son Britt came and
told Randy about his dad's 1932 Ford 3-Window that had been stored away
for 50 years. Britt brought pictures of the car. A short time later the
car was shipped to us from Georgia -- with one thing in mind -- get dad's
32 back on the road. These photos tell the story of an all steel '32 rebuilt
with the best of everything and finished in time for the Del Mar GoodGuys
show. It has been returned to its owner for another 50 years of fun. Real
nice car. Real nice project. Real nice people.
Nothing is as cool as a '32 Ford 3-Window!
This street sizzler has a ZZ4 350 small-block Chevy under
the hood, an R4 700 trans and 9-inch Ford rear-end. It also has all the
creature comforts, like a Vintage Air AC system and power windows.
As soon as the car was finished, the Johnsons took it to the
First Annual GoodGuys show in Del Mar.
Our Boss, Randy, looks on as another '32 Ford leaves HRCS.
Mrs. Johnson snaps a few photos and Jerry and his son Britt take the car
for its initial test ride after 50 years.
