Glass and Steel
Once the lower body is properly fitted it is time to fit the
fiberglass. The doors are taped into place so that the hinges and door strikers
can be mocked up. You can see the other end of that ididit tilt-column.
The doors are now finished and the all the cab weather-stripping
is installed. The hood is next, but the owner didn't like the stock look
and thought the engine might need a bit more ventilation. So, its time to
do a bit of custom fiberglass work modify things a bit.
The scoop is mocked up with cardboard first. Once it is right,
the bodyshop crew does its thing.
