Mr. Dove's 1965 Chevrolet Nova SS
We did not build this vehicle, but we recently refurbished
it and made some upgrades that Mr. dove felt were needed to perfect it.
We over-hauled the brake system, replaced fuel lines, and installed a trans-cooler
and roll-control, and added tubular from A-arms. We also performed regular
maintenance like a tune-up and header gasket replacement.
This '65 Nova is powered by a GM ZZ430 crate motor hooked
up to a Rick Roach-built Turbo 400 with a Hurst Quarter Stick shifter.
The rear end was tubbed to make room for those Micky Thompsons.
They're attached to a narrowed
9-inch housing has been modified using a 4.11-equipped Trac-Loc and a set
of Moser axles.
The boxed chassis uses a body-channeled-over-frame design.
Those are Cragar Street Star wheels.
SS stand for "Super Sport", and that definately
applies to this car.
