The Eagle Has Landed!
Grand Canyon Airlines' 1939 Pontiac arrives at the shop.
Thanks to being stored out of the weather in an Arizona aircraft
hanger for the last couple decades, this woodie is in remarkably good shape.
The original Grand Canyon Airlines logo still looks good.
Randy checks out the woodie.
Except for a few dents and cracks, the sheetmetal is in pretty
good condition. Not much rust and nothing that can't be repaired, so there
will be no need to hunt down replacements.
The drivers door, which is in pieces in the back seat, is
the only part of the woodie that was not intact.
