When Bill Daly brought us his Vette a few years back we re-vamped
his drive train with a NOS-powered small-block. Eventually, though, he decided
he needed more power and scratched that itch by dropping a 572 ci Big Block
under the hood. The problem was that the hood would no longer close with
that monster under it (at least not with the air cleaner installed).
To remedy that situation he brought the car back to us so
we could modify the hood and let that monster motor breath right.
Dave Anderson, our fiberglass wizard, dove into the project
and in a few weeks had the job done to perfection.
It's all about the cubic inches! NOS is nice, but there is
not substitute for raw displacement horsepower.
